COTABATO CITY — The Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) reported on Tuesday, March 15, its physical and financial accomplishments for fiscal year 2021 during the Directives, Accomplishments, and Performance Assessment Tracking (DAPAT) meeting held in Bangsamoro Government Center, Cotabato City.

DAPAT meeting has a panel with members coming from the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM), Bangsamoro Attorney Generalโ€™s Office (BAGO), and Ministry of Finance, and Budget and Management (MFBM).  Also, the Office of the Cabinet Secretariat serves as the head secretariat during DAPAT meetings, with members from the MFBM and BPDA.

Director General Engr. Mohajirin T. Ali led the reporting of BPDAโ€™s accomplishment report to the panel members starting with the legal basis, functions, responsibilities, and organizational structure of the said office.

According to Ali, plantilla positions in the BPDA are almost filled up except for two (2) vacant positions.

โ€œAll Divisions are fully functional regardless of the lack of division chief,โ€ he stressed.

He also said that the BPDA utilized help from BARMMโ€™s donor partners to address the challenge of navigating the sliced budget of the said office.

โ€œThe BPDA is databasing the list of the donors and will develop mechanisms in tracking the works of the partners,โ€ he added.

Melanie Indar, Director of BPDAโ€™s Planning and Policies Bureau (PPB), reported the physical accomplishments, while the 2021 appropriations and financial performance were reported by Sheelinie Limgas, Budget Officer of the BPDA.

Meanwhile, DAPAT meeting was established through OCM memorandum order no. 045, series of 2019 to conduct thorough assessment on the accomplishment, financial, and physical performance of the BARMM ministries, offices, and agencies.  (BPDA-BARMM)
