COTABATO CITY โ€” Employees of the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA), Bangsamoro Population and Development Office (BPDO), and Special Development Fund-Project Management Office (SDF-PMO) joined Mondayโ€™s event dubbed as โ€œBangsamoro Governance Dayโ€ spearheaded by the Development Administration Committee (DACom) of the Bangsamoro Economic and Development Council (BEDC) held at Bangsamoro Government Center on January 23, 2023.

BPDA Director General Engr. Mohajirin T. Ali led his employees in the said event while wearing their cultural attire.

During the said event, various offices have rendered different services. The Bangsamoro Attorney Generalโ€™s Office (BAGO) offered free legal consultation and notarization of simple documents; Civil Service Commission (CSC-BARMM) offered legal advice on CSC matters; Bangsamoro Information Office (BIO) offered free photography lecture; Ministry of Finance and Budget and Management (MFBM) distributed budget magazine and MFBM services materials; Ministry of Human Settlements and Development (MHSD) distributed housing loan application forms with proper orientation, survey forms on housing preference for BARMM employees, pamphlets, and brochures on the checklist of requirements for issuance of clearance and licenses; Development Academy of the Bangsamoro (DAB) distributed request forms for training and brochure PPAS; AMS-OCM distributed knowledge products, conducted Bangsamoro Book Exhibit, photobooth, and free shuttle services; and TMS-OCM distributed IEC materials relative to OCM PPAS.

Moreover, the officials and visitors also took a gallery walk and tour inside Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex (SKCC), where it highlights the accomplishments of the Bangsamoro government since its establishment in 2019.

The Office of the Chief Minister also launched the Cabinet Handbook and CM-Acts. The said office also turned over checks for local government units (LGUs) and cooperatives, medicines to Maguindanao and Cotabato City Rural Health Units (RHUs), food items, hygiene kits, and ATM cards.

The Bangsamoro Governance Day also highlighted the โ€œ3rd Awarding Ceremony for Performing Bangsamoro LGUsโ€ held at SKCC.

Meanwhile, as the technical secretariat of the committee, BPDA spearheaded the coordination of the said activities with its member ministries, offices, and agencies.  (Mary Lovella Lao-Lastimosa, BPDA-BARMM)
