RPDO receives PRIME-HRM Bronze Award in BARMM

The Regional Planning and Development Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao was conferred with the PRIME-HRM Bronze Award by the Civil Service Commission on July 24, 2019 at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Manila Philippines. The said award was received by Engr. Mohajirin Ali, Acting Executive Director and Ms. Camelia De Vera – Dacanay, Human Resource and Management Officer.

The Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource (Prime-HRM) Bronze Award is a recognition to government agencies in the Philippines which were found to be compliant with Level 2 Maturity Indicators of the four (4) core HRM Systems in the areas of Recruitment, Selection and Placement; Learning and Development; Rewards and Recognition; and Performance Management. PRIME-HRM, a banner program of CSC aims to successfully transform the agenciesโ€™ HRM system, competencies, and practices to elevate public sector HR to a level of excellence for good governance, efficient, and effective public service delivery.

The first agency to receive in BARMM, RPDO was among the 106 agencies in the entire Philippines found to be compliant with the indicators as stipulated under the Resolution No. 1801338 dated December 4, 2018. Director Ali stresses that the merit was due to employeesโ€™ collaborative efforts to realize excellence in public service.
