𝗗𝗚 𝗔𝗟𝗜 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗬, 𝗗𝗙𝗔𝗧

Bangsamoro Director General Engr. Mohajirin T. Ali, MNSA welcomed the Australian Embassy, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) during the latter’s courtesy visit at the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) on Monday, November 20, 2023.

The purpose of their visit was to formally introduce Matthew Boyall, 2nd Secretary (Political). Boyall was accompanied by his fellows from DFAT, Emmanuel Joseph II Solis and Ezra Kristina Bayalan.

Further, the visit aimed to present the new country program on peacebuilding support in the BARMM, which will be implemented until 2028.

During the meeting, DG Ali discussed various priority programs and projects that are being implemented in the BARMM, as well as the challenges that the region is facing, underscoring the need for further investment to ensure that the region can reach its full potential.

The director general also highlighted the significant contributions of the Australian Embassy, DFAT in achieving the region’s development goal.

Meanwhile, the DFAT representatives expressed their commitment of support to the Bangsamoro government, through the BPDA and its efforts in bringing positive change in the region.
