RPDO-BARMM has completed the drafting of the first Bangsamoro Development Plan (BDP) 2020-2022, the regionโs development road map, has been completed.
This was announced by Engr. Mohajirin Ali, executive director of the Regional Planning and Development Office (RPDO), during the regular Kapihan sa Bangsamoro held on Tuesday, December 03, in Cotabato City.
The drafting of the 1st BDP was directed by the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM) through the RPDO. It can be recalled that the RPDO has conducted series of consultations on the formulation of the BDP 2020-2022 with the local government officials of each of the BARMM’s member provinces and cities.
The office has also organized series of workshops for the planning officers and technical staff of the Bangsamoro Government’s different ministries and offices.
Ali said once the Bangsamoro Economic Development Council (BEDC) will be established, โwe will present the BDP to the BEDC and the council will deliberate the draft development plan for the BARMM.โ
BEDC will be the highest policymaking body in the BARMM. He added โwe are continuing to enhance it (BDP), lalong lalo na doon sa mga inputs provided to us by the Cabinet during our presentation last week to them.”
