COTABATO CITY โ The Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority presented to the Cotabato City local government officials and its planning team the initial assessment result of the cityโs Comprehensive Development Plan (CDP) for 2022-2028, conducted by the Regional Technical Assessor Committee (RTAC) on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.
Chaired by the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG), the said committee is tasked to assess the CDP of the LGUs in terms of its compliance with the national guidelines (DILG-NEDA-DBM-DOF JMC No. 1. s. 2016) on the updated guidelines on the harmonization of local planning, investment programming, resource mobilization, budgeting, expenditure management, and performance monitoring and coordination in fiscal oversight.
Furthermore, conducting CDP assessments pave the way for ensuring the vertical linkage of the local development plans to the priority thrusts and development plans of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
