Officials of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in the Philippines present the “Final Report and Result of the Pre-Feasibility Study on Urban Development in Greater Cotabato City” to Cotabato City Mayor Mohammad Ali “Bruce” Matabalao and to officials and representatives from the Ministries of Interior and Local Government (MILG), Public Works (MPW), Transportation and Communications (MOTC), Human Settlements and Development (MHSD), Trade, Investments and Tourism (MTIT), Environment, Natural Resources and Energy (MENRE), and Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) taking place at the Bangsamoro Government Center in Cotabato City and via Zoom video teleconference.
In his message, Mayor Matabalao underscored that Cotabato City will primarily benefit a lot from the said urban development projects, saying “Cotabato City will truly become a crown jewel of the Bangsamoro region”.
Also present are Zulficar Ali H. Panda, Municipal Mayor of Sultan Mastura, and representatives from local government units of Parang and Sultan Kudarat in the province of Maguindanao.
