COTABATO CITY โ€“ The United Nations, in coordination with the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA), conducted Tuesday, March 14, a consultation workshop as part of the preparation for the formulation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) 2024-2028 โ€“ a framework that will guide the future partnership between the UN and the Philippines for the next five years.

Said workshop aimed to develop a consensus between the UN and Bangsamoro government on strategic priorities in the BARMM to be supported by the UN through the UNSDCF.

Moreover, the UNSDCF will be guided by, and align with, the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028 and the 2nd Bangsamoro Development Plan 2023-2028, and informed by the CCA and SEPF Evaluation.

UNSDCF is also in line with the Cooperation Framework Roadmap agreed by the Government of the Philippines (GPH) and the UN, wherein the Common Country Analysis (CCA) and SEPF Evaluation have been conducted.

Among the participants were representatives from Office of the Senior Minister, Office of the Chief Minister-Technical Management Service (OCM-TMS), Ministry of the Interior and Local Government (MILG), Ministry of Social Services and Development (MSSD), Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR), Ministry of Finance and Budget and Management (MFBM), Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Energy (MENRE), Ministry of Transportation and Communication (MOTC), Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), Ministry of Trade, Investments and Tourism (MTIT), Ministry of Indigenous Peopleโ€™s Affairs (MIPA), Bangsamoro Women Commission (BWC), Bangsamoro Sports Commission (BSC), Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC), Bangsamoro Information and Communications Technology Office (BICTO), Bangsamoro Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage (BCPCH), Bangsamoro Population and Development Office (BPDO), National Nutrition Council (NNC-BARMM), Cooperative and Social Enterprise Authority (CSEA), Bangsamoro Human Rights Commission (BHRC), Bangsamoro Board of Investments (BBOI), Bangsamoro Pilgrimage Authority (BPA), Bangsamoro Attorney Generalโ€™s Office (BAGO), Bangsamoro READi, and Office of the Settler Communities (OOSC).
