COTABATO CITY — The Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) participated in the two-day webinar on starting a business for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) spearheaded by the Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency.
The activity, dubbed as “BaliKaBayanihan: Webinar on Starting a Business for OFWs and Families” was held on October 6-7, 2020 via video teleconference.
Participants during the webinar include 171 Domestic and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) together with the BaliKaBayanihan focal persons and volunteer offices.
Pahmia Noska and Saida Usman were representatives of the BPDA.
Topics highlighted during the first day of the webinar were values formation, entrepreneurial spirit, and sharing of success stories of different entrepreneurs and particularly, the OFWs.
On the second day, the discussions focused on business readiness and business opportunities. More so, the participants underwent ‘self-assessment’ facilitated by the resource speakers.
