As the chairperson and technical secretariat of the BARMM’s Regional Statistics Committee (RSCom), the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) joined the regionwide opening ceremony of the 32nd National Statistics Month hosted by the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE) on Monday, October 4, 2021.
Bearing the theme “NSM@32: Revving up for Economic and Social Recovery Through Evidence-Based Policies”, this annual celebration aims to promote, enhance, and instill awareness and appreciation of the importance and value of statistics to the different sectors of the society.
Meanwhile, the month of October was declared as the National Statistics Month by former President Corazon C. Aquino’s through Presidential Proclamation No. 647, issued on September 20, 1990.
