𝐁𝐏𝐃𝐀 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧

COTABATO CITY — The Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) took part during the consultation with partners for the 9th Country Program for Children (CPC) 2021-2028 in the BARMM spearheaded by the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) Philippines held Wednesday, June 14, in this city.

Said activity aimed to introduce and discuss priority areas of engagement on the proposed outcomes and outputs for the 9th CPC, and inform the partners on the structure and main strategic shifts from CPC 8 to CPC 9, as well as its alignment to the 2nd Bangsamoro Development Plan (BDP) 2023-2028.

In an opening message delivered by Shariffa Ainie M. Abatayo of the BPDA’s Social Planning Division (SPD), Director General Engr. Mohajirin T. Ali, MNSA, said that he is elated by the initiatives launched for the Bangsamoro children.

“From the OKY app for teens, immunizations, birth certificates, and retroactive to parenting, efforts are indeed prescribed as early as possible to ensure the well-being of our Bangsamoro children,” he stressed.

This activity consolidated the suggestions and validation of key interventions for each output in five thematic areas, which include child protection, health and nutrition, education, social policy, and WASH/DRR/CCA.

Meanwhile, the shifts from CPC 8 to CPC 9 were explained by Radoslaw Rzehak, a representative of UNICEF.
