𝐁𝐏𝐃𝐀 𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐇𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡

COTABATO CITY — In line with the month-long celebration of the National Women’s Month and commemoration of the Bangsamoro History Month, the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) led by the Gender and Development (GAD) focal from the Social Planning Division, in partnership with the Peace, Public Order, Safety and Security Division (PPOSSD) culminated the said events during an awarding ceremony held on Thursday, March 31, 2022.

Among the activities conducted by the SPD for the National Women’s Month were Inter-Division Quiz Bee Competition, mind and board games including Sudoku, Scrabble, Word Factory (Boggles), Dama and Snake and Ladders, and group games such as message relay, action relay, charade, and bring me.

Listed below are the winners of the aforementioned games:

Sudoku: Al-Kashmir Y. Ko of Local Planning and Coordinating Division (LPCD)

Word Factory (Boggles): Mary Lovella Lao-Lastimosa of Information and Knowledge Management Division (IKMD)

Scrabble: Issah Abduljalil of Economic Planning Division (EPD)

Dama: Guialalludin Usop of Official Development Assistance (ODA) and Musa Abas of Research and Development Division (RDD)

Snakes and Ladders: Mia Ayezza Acbar of Finance and Administrative Support Services (FASS) and Zenaida Nor of Research and Development Division (RDD)

For the Inter-Division Quiz Bee Competition, Naimah T. Amer of ODA, Mary Lovella Lao-Lastimosa of IKMD, and Khairon A. Sura of SPD garnered the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

The said competition centered on RA 10354, commonly known as “The Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act of 2012” discussed during an orientation facilitated by Dr. Sweet Almira A. Amil last March 30, 2022.

Furthermore, the PPOSSD also facilitated an Inter-Division Quiz Bee Competition focusing on the clauses of Proclamation 001, series of 2021, issued by Chief Minister Ebrahim, as well as the topics discussed during the Bangsamoro Commission for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage (BCPCH) Forum on Bangsamoro History Month.

Mia Ayezza G. Acbar and Ingrid Miles D. Bade of FASS, Ameraidah B. Cosain and Fatimah B. Tahir of FASS, and Norhana B. Juanday and Naimah T. Amer of ODA won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

Meanwhile, gift certificates were given away to all the winners of various games and Inter-Division Quiz Bee Competitions for the National Women’s Month and Bangsamoro History Month. (BPDA-BARMM)
