On behalf of the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA), my sincere congratulations to the World Food Programme (WFP) for winning this year’s Nobel Peace Prize.

Indeed, I am one with the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and the rest of the Philippines in celebrating this another momentous achievement!

The WFP has been an active development partner of the Bangsamoro Region, so allow me to express my genuine appreciation and profound gratitude for their heroic deeds to tackle world hunger, most especially in the region’s conflict-affected areas.

I take special mention of the BPDA’s efficient partnership with the WFP in crafting the milestone of Food Sufficiency Program towards Sustainable Food System to promote self-reliant, self-sustaining, and food secured Bangsamoro.

We sincerely hope to continue collaborating with your team in Cotabato Sub-Office as we work along for a better and developed Bangsamoro Region.
