PASIG CITY, Philippines — Around 32 delegates of the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) led by Engr. Mohajirin T. Ali, MNSA, gathered today, May 26, to share their acquired knowledge, information, and identified best practices of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Private-Public Partnership Center (PPP Center), and Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) during a debriefing hosted by the European Union through the Support to Bangsamoro Transition (SUBATRA) at Joy-Nostalg Hotel & Suites in Pasig City.
Said debriefing is in line with BPDA’s benchmarking activities at NEDA and its attached agencies, the PPP Center and PIDS.
During the debriefing, the delegates in three benchmarking activities shared their acquired knowledge and information during the benchmarking which increased their understanding on the structure and operations of the said agencies. The best practices of NEDA, PPP Center, and PIDS were also identified by the delegates.
Prior to the simultaneous benchmarking activities, the delegation was divided into two groups. The first team conducted a benchmarking at NEDA while the other team conducted the same at PPP Center. Further, the benchmarking at PIDS was completely attended by the delegation.
Meanwhile, the benchmarking activities conducted at NEDA, PPP Center, and PIDS aimed to improve the quality and efficiency of BPDA’s services as the planning arm of the Bangsamoro government and technical secretariat of the Bangsamoro Economic and Development Council (BEDC).
