DAVAO CITY โ The Bangsamoro Economic and Development Council (BEDC) of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), chaired by BARMM Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim, attended the 18th Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) Board Meeting held on Thursday, June 27, at the MinDA BIMP-EAGA Hall in Davao City. Chief Minister Ebrahim was represented by Director Melanie M. Indar of the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA).
The meeting, presided over by MinDA Chairperson Secretary Leo Tereso A. Magno, convened MinDAโs board of directors to discuss latest developments and strategic initiatives for Mindanao, focusing on solidifying priority programs and projects that align with the development thrusts of the Marcos administration.
Key priority areas discussed include water supply, agri-industry development, BIMP-EAGA, infrastructure, and climate change and disaster resiliency.
In his message, Sec. Magno reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring a more prosperous and progressive Mindanao, stating, โI will do whatever I can to contribute to the socioeconomic growth of Mindanao.โ
Sec. Magno also emphasized MinDAโs openness to collaborating with all stakeholders across various sectors to ensure the Mindanaoโs development goals are fully realized.
