PROJECT TABANG: SIMUNUL, TAWI-TAWI

TAWI-TAWI (November 7, 2019) – For the first time ever, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Chief Minister Ahod "Al Haj Murad" Ebrahim travels to Simunul, along with fellow members of the parliament and ministers, to commemorate the 639th Sheik Karimul Makdum Day today.The chief minister expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate the event with the people of Tawi-Tawi."Nais ko pong magpasalamat sa pagkakataon na makasama kayo sa selebrasyong ito. Ating binibigyang pugay ang pagdating ni Sheik Karimul Makdum sa Simunul at ang pagpasok ng Islam sa Pilipinas, partikular na dito sa island provinces ng Bangsamoro", Ebrahim said.Sheik Karimul Makdum introduced Islam in Tawi-Tawi, and subsequently, in Mindanao and other parts of the country.The Bangsamoro Government took advantage of the celebration to bring over the Project TABANG or Tulong sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan."Ito rin po ang ikatlong pagkakataon na isasagawa namin ang naturang proyekto matapos ang dalawang matagumpay na pagdadala nito sa mga Bayan ng Cotabato at Marawi. Isa po layunin ng Project TABANG na maipalapit sa inyo ang Bangsamoro Government", the chief minister said.Services from various ministries and offices located in one setting and one sitting has been provided – medical needs, scholarship programs, legal services, and other significant social interventions.Chief Minister Ebrahim is hopeful that the establishment of Project TABANG will become one of the lasting legacies of the current leadership's journey towards moral governance and a more progressive Bangsamoro.©️2019MILFchairmanOfficial
