COTABATO CITY — The Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (UNFAO) currently holds a five-day in-house review and evaluation of the updated Results Matrices (RM) and Bangsamoro Development Investment Program (BDIP) 2020-2022 of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao’s (BARMM) ministries, offices and agencies (MOAs) participated by BPDA’s key personnel who are spearheading the packaging of the updated RM and BDIP. This week-long activity is taking place at Golden Lace Fine Dine Resto in Cotabato City which started on Monday until Friday, May 17-21, 2021.

Furthermore, this activity aimed to consolidate the updated RM and BDIP 2020-2022 submitted by different MOAs and evaluate and validate those programs, activities, and projects (PAPs) supportive to the Risk Informed Shock Responsive Social Protection (RISRSP); evaluate and validate alignment and consistency of ministry’s and agency’s PAPs with the 1st BDP Framework and its accompanying documents, the RM and BDIP and the Bangsamoro Response and Recovery Plan (BRRP) for COVID-19 Pandemic 2020-2022; package the updated RM and BDIP for 2020-2022 for submission to the Ministry of Finance and Budget and Management (MFBM); and sectoral participants from BPDA’s different divisions will consolidate the submitted RM and BDIP of different ministries and line agencies.

In his message, BPDA Director General Engr. Mohajirin T. Ali underscored the two important things that should be done by the BPDA.

“Basically, we will work on two things. First, our PAPs. So, I hope it is already prepared. Second, the consolidation (RM and BDIP) of all agencies we have engaged with, who will also require a certification from us,” he said.

Engr. Ali also directed the technical secretariat to inform all MOAs under the economic, social, peace, infrastructure, and development administration sectors to officially submit their updated RM and BDIP.

“Kindly ask them (MOAs) to officially transmit those PAPs with transmittal letters,” Ali emphasized.

Five (5) divisions who are the technical secretariat of the aforementioned sectors have reported the status of the submission of the updated RM and BDIP of MOAs under their respective sectors.

Moreover, the updating of RM and BDIP with BARMM MOAs which started last April 13 is in line with the preparation for the upcoming budget call for fiscal year 2022 spearheaded by the BPDA. (BPDA-BARMM)
