The RPDO-BARMM conducted the third in-house integration and refinement workshop last October 28-29, 2019 at Pagana Hotel and Restaurant, Cotabato City, following the series of provincial consultations for LGUs, CSOs, NGOs, business partners, and other stakeholders on the formulation of the 1st Bangsamoro Development Plan (BDP) and its Results Matrix (RM) and Bangsamoro Development Investment Plan (BDIP), 2020-2022.

The output of the workshop was the chapters completeness, coherence, alignment, and consistency with other chapters.The staffs of the RPDO-BARMM, spearheading the formulation of the 1st Bangsamoro Development Plan (BDP) 2020-2022, attended the 2-day In-House Integration and Refinement Workshop 3. This is in partnership with International Organization for Migration (IOM) and European Union (EU) held at the Pagana Kutawato, Cotabato City last October 28-29, 2019. It was participated by 27 staffs, and 3 consultants namely Ma. Victoria “Mags” Maglana, Arvin Chua, and Eric John Matela.

One of the highlights of the workshop was the taking stock of the consultation results, wherein every Planning Committee takes out the results of the provincial-wide and city-wide consultation under the BARMM region, that are essential inputs for the development plan. The main objective of this activity is the refinement of the chapters, RM, BDIP based on the consultation results. Every sector was given time to report their output of the workshop in the afternoon. Also included in the reporting, was updating the status of every chapter assigned to every Planning Committee.

Each Planning Committee were given time to review the assigned chapters for its completeness, coherence, alignment, and consistency. There was also allotted time checking against the BARMM and NEDA planning and budgeting guidelines.

The discussion on the assessment of the macro-economic targets such as GRDP, Inflation, Labor Force, Unemployment Rate among others were also tackled in the workshop. Executive Director Engr. Mohajirin T. Ali who was able to join the activity, gave his insights on the macro-economic target as part of the development plan.Ms. Mags Maglana, lead facilitator, presented initial draft of the Guidelines for the Formulation of the 1st BDP 2020-2022 which will be presented to the Planning Committee (PC) on the finalization workshop.
