Greetings of love, peace, prosperity, and happiness to everyone!
As we look back to a year filled with so much challenges, we had seen various faces of struggles and trials brought about by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This crisis has brought enormous changes not only to the lives of our fellow Bangsamoro but of the whole world, in terms of health, education, career, business, and others.
Underneath these circumstances, I am a living testament on the courage and resilience shown by the Bangsamoro amidst the adversities. We learned to persevere; we learned to value life; we learned to save money and how to spend it wisely; we learned to diligently follow rules especially health protocols; we learned to fight; we learned to spread love and kindness; and we learned that there is still hope for humanity.
We believe all these will motivate us to do greater deeds, pleasing in the sight of Allah, the God Almighty.
In these trying times, I believe every family should reunite and take some time to lift up each otherβs soul. But as we take the opportunity to spend βquality timeβ with our loved ones this season, let us be mindful to take necessary precautions to ensure safe and COVID-free family gatherings.
To our Christian brethren, we wish you a joyous Christmas celebration and may the spirit of love, peace, kindness, and joy shall overflow in every household.
As we welcome 2022, we ask the Almighty Allah to grant our prayers for a united, peaceful, progressive, and blessed Bangsamoro.
