The Technical Working Group (TWG) of the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) led by the Official Development Assistance Nationally Funded Programs Projects Coordination (ODANFPPC) Division is currently holding a workshop on ODA Instrument Development and Data Gathering at Grand Summit Hotel in General Santos City on August 9-12, 2022. The said workshop is the first one in the series of activities for the formulation of the BARMM ODA Mechanism.

In his message, Engr. Guilalluden M. Usop, head of the ODANFPPC Division, explained that the mechanism aims to centralize and maximize the donorโ€™s assistance and ensure the alignment of programs with the priorities of the Bangsamoro government. This will further strengthen the linkages through enhanced coordination between the Bangsamoro government, development partners, and ODA implementing offices.

At the end of the workshop, the TWG members are expected to develop a proposed approach, design the instruments to be used, identify data and information needed, and work plan on the succeeding activities.
