COTABATO CITY โ€“ The Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (RPMECom), a special committee under the Bangsamoro Economic and Development Council (BEDC), successfully conducted its third regular meeting held Tuesday, Sept. 27 at the BPDA Conference Hall 2, Bangsamoro Government Center, this city.

BARMM Assistant Senior Minister Abdullah M. Cusain presided the committeeโ€™s third regular meeting.  He represented Senior Minister Abdulraof Macacua, chairperson of the said committee.

The meeting highlights the oath-taking of two private sector organizations, the League of Bangsamoro Organizations (LBO) and Mindanao Center for Local Governance (MCLG), as additional members of the said committee.

Moreover, the committee agreed for the creation of resolution to fund the activities of RPMECom.  Said resolution shall be drafted by the BPDA as the committeeโ€™s technical secretariat, with the assistance of the Ministry of Finance, Budget and Management (MFBM).

During the meeting, Nomaire P. Mustapha, Chief of Monitoring and Evaluation Division (MED), presented the updates on the formulation of the M&E Manual of Operations, and re-echoed the highlights of the orientation on Regional Project Monitoring and Evaluation System (RPMES) facilitated by NEDA XII Asst. Regional Director Carmel P. Matabang together with his technical staff.

Meanwhile, ASM Cusain urged the members to fast track the formulation of the said document to further strengthen the monitoring and evaluation activities in the region.  (Mary Lovella Lao-Lastimosa with reports from Norodin Intia, BPDA-BARMM)
