COTABATO CITY — The Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) in partnership with The Asia Foundation (TAF) conducted an in-house assessment on the 12-Point Priority Agenda of the Bangsamoro Government held on March 20-22 at Paragon Hotel, this city.

This activity aims to come up with an assessment report of the 1st Bangsamoro Development Plan (BDP) that will focus on assessing the realization of the priorities in the 12-Point Priority Agenda.

As the executive arm and technical secretariat of the Bangsamoro Government, BPDA was tasked to lead and render technical assistance to all ministries, offices, and agencies in refining the BARMM priority agenda for the next three years, 2023-2025.

In her message, Melanie M. Indar, Director I of Policies and Planning Bureau, said โ€œThe Cabinet agreed to enhance further the proposed agenda to include other important priorities of the Bangsamoro Government.โ€

Ever Abasolo, resource person and consultant from TAF, introduced the dimensions of the assessment as a tool in crafting the assessment report of the priority agenda which include context monitoring, outcomes monitoring, implementation monitoring, and program and project evaluation.

During the workshop, select technical staff from the BPDA used the said assessment tool to come up with an initial assessment report and presented it during the plenary.

Meanwhile, the initial assessment report will be presented by the BPDA in the upcoming Cabinet workshop to be conducted on March 23-24, 2022. (BPDA-BARMM)
