COTABATO CITY — As member of the technical working group (TWG) and technical secretariat, select personnel of the Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) joined on November 16-19, the recently concluded implementation planning workshop for the TWG of the Bangsamoro Task Force on Ending Local Armed Conflict (BTF ELAC), conducted by the task force’s secretariat led by the Office of the Senior Minister.
The workshop held in Acacia Hotel Davao City aimed to upskill the understanding on the mandate duties and responsibilities of the TWG, enhance the workplan and implan of the 12 lines of effort and align it with BTF ELAC strategic plan, and strengthening the coordination and cooperation of the task force.
Gil Cambronero, Chief of Peace, Public Order, Safety and Security Division (PPOSSD), led the BPDA participants composed of Mohammad Yassin K. Bajunaid, Norcayla L. Mamalac, Ayesha Aeda A. Masbud, and Bai Sittie Fatimah I. Bagundang.
Meanwhile, Cambronero presented the Chapter 10 of the 1st Bangsamoro Development Plan 2020-2022, focusing on upholding peace, security, public order and safety, and respect for human rights in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
Also present were National Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, BARMM Chief Minister Ahod B. Ebrahim, BARMM Senior Minister and BTF ELAC Secretariat Head Abdulraof Macacua, Atty. Naguib Sinarimbo, Minister of the Ministry of the Interior and Local Government, representatives from the Office of Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP), Bangsamoro Attorney General’s Office (BAGO), Police Regional Office – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR), Western Mindanao Command (WestMinCom) of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Bangsamoro Information Office (BIO), Ministries of Labor and Employment (MOLE), Public Order and Safety (MPOS), Public Works (MPW), Indigenous Peoples’ Affair (MIPA), Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR), and Health (MOH).
